Today we host an in-form Edinburgh City (WDWWL last 5) trying to find some form ourselves, and again there’s 2 weeks between our last shitshow v’s Stenhousemuir and the Edinburgh game. All on Double Intensity training now!

The Scottish Cup 3rd Draw has happened, and we get…
Edinburgh City away 🙂 Nice to see at least 2 non-league teams will get to the 4th Round, and they will both be from the Highland League. The matches will be on 20th November.
Our Reserves beat Tweedmouth Reserves 2-1, a brace from Cameron McGinn.
Our U18’s beat Tynecastle Res 2-0, goals from Ross MacIver and Cameron McGinn (Again).
Our Reserves beat Queen of the South Res 3-2 (Goals from Sean Mackie, Tom Sutherland and a 92nd minute o.g.)
And our U18’s played again, winning 3-0 at Dunbar Utd U18’s (Goals from Sean Mackie, Jack Leitch & Conor McLaughlin)
And I now have my Continental B Licence – I’ll wait until the new year then ask to go for the Continental A.
And we are now at the day of the Edinburgh City game – I’m going to roll the dice on this one.
Going with more attackingly-minded wingbacks today, Dempsie & MacIver, both who have played really well in the positions during reserve matches. Mitchell up top as an AF, Martin now as an AP(A), Palmer & McManus as Carilleros, Maguire at the centre of a back 3 of Neill and Bow, Sinclair in goal. Got lots of players now moaning about lack of game time, will need to do a fair bit of culling. Edinburgh City go with this 4-5-1 that has seemingly been working very well for them.

Pouring rain again in Berwick today (Can’t remember having any games abandoned for waterlogging though). A very slow start, but edinburgh take the lead in the 17th minute, Taylor hitting the bar, and tapping in the rebound. 1-1 at Half time, no extended highlights over and above the goal…

A bit of desperation, 3-5-1-1, Demspie & MacIver as Defensive Wingers, McManus as a DLP(D), Palmer and Davidson (on for Leitch) as Mezzalas, Martin as a Shadow Striker, Mitchell as a Poacher. Just hoping for some signs that we’ve not fallen off a cliff form-wise. 60 minutes, no highlights, Armstrong and Dunsmore on for Dempsie & MacIver. Not a single in game highlight.. Another loss. Back to the drawing board.
Absolute horseshit yet again. I’m going to have to have a think about the use of the Number 10 as its not working. Thinking 2 up top again.
